Our porcelain veneers are perfect for teeth that are stained past the point of whitening or for a chipped tooth that you want fixed right away.
Dental veneers are thin plastic or porcelain shells that cover the front of your tooth. Veneers are generally used for front teeth and we bond them permanently to your natural teeth underneath. We custom-make your veneers to match the shape, color, and size of your teeth. Veneers completely transform our patients’ stained teeth, cracks or chips, and gaps. In only a few visits to Town & Country Smiles, your smile will look as good as new!
Composite Vs. Porcelain Veneers
There are a few things you should consider when deciding between composite veneers versus porcelain veneers. Composite veneers only require one office visit and use the same materials and process as dental bonding. With porcelain veneers, the material looks more translucent and looks more like natural teeth. Composite veneers are very strong, but porcelain veneers are the most durable and natural looking. While composite veneers may stain, porcelain does not. However, porcelain veneers may break under extreme stress.
Porcelain veneers require at least two visits to Town & Country Smiles. We first shape your tooth, prepare it for the procedure, and take wax impressions. During this appointment, you will receive a temporary veneer. At your next visit, we will remove your temporary veneer and bond your permanent porcelain veneer to your tooth!
