Teeth Whitening

Frustrated with the lack of results you’re seeing in your teeth whitening toothpastes and strips? Our professional teeth whitening services are much more effective and long-lasting than over-the-counter teeth whitening products. Get the bright, white smile you’ve always dreamed of at Town & Country Smiles!

Discolored Teeth

Some discoloration in our teeth is inevitable. Teeth discolor naturally with age, but drinks like red wine, coffee, and tea also contribute to long-term teeth stains. These factors combine to make our tooth color far from that pearly white we all long for.

Teeth Whitening Process

At Town & Country Smiles, we whiten teeth by applying a bleaching gel containing hydrogen and carbamide peroxide to your teeth. The gel harmlessly removes stains and avoids causing any damage. This process could take anywhere from one to three hours depending on your specific case. We also provide options for at-home whitening, which takes about 2 weeks total. You may choose in-office whitening, at-home whitening, or both, depending on your situation.

For 48 hours after whitening, your teeth will likely be very sensitive. However, we assure you that our experts at Town & Country Smiles use entirely safe whitening services that will not compromise your dental health.

Choosing In-Office Vs. At-Home Whitening

In-office bleaching is safe, effective, and fast. It usually takes about one to three hours and you get instant results! At-home whitening kits are affordable and effective and can be done in the comfort of your home. Our dentist will take impressions to create custom plastic trays that will fit comfortably in your mouth. At home, you will fill the trays with whitening gel and wear them for the amount of time recommended by your dentist!

Should I Get Professional Teeth Whitening?

Patients with yellow, light brown, or dark brown stains benefit greatly from teeth whitening services. However, our teeth whitening products do not lighten fillings, bonding, or veneers.

You should not get professional teeth whitening if you are pregnant, have sensitive or damaged teeth, or if you have gum disease.
